unlimited bandwidth offers on the way out?

is it just me or have the unlimited bandwidth offers gone way down.. i dont see a lot of people asking for that kind of stuff now... i guess the customers are better informed now then they were about 12 months ago...

Yep, you are right. Now customers are aware about unlimited bandwidth. They know that offering unlimited bandwidth is just a marketing technique.

I live in denmark and all the big hosting companys offer free unlimited bandwidth for about 2$ a mounth. But if your site start getting traffic they shot you down. So alot of people are singing up with hosts that offer fixed bandwidth.
On the danish forums i visit i allways tell people to google the hosts they are thinking about as their new host. And they offen come back after reading what people are saying. An ask for new advise. I tell em to go with an host with fixed bandwith. Free bandwidth don´t exsist.
